Now in its ninth iteration, this gathering seeks to advance rigorous research and strengthen the community of scholars at the intersection of migration and organizations. We invite papers linking migration (human movement across or within borders) to topics such as:
- Organizational performance
- Employee mobility
- Management of people and teams
- Diversity and inclusion in organizations
- Firm capabilities
- Entrepreneurship
- Corporate strategy
- Innovation
- Global strategy
- Firm location choice
- Work practices
- Teams
Any other topic at the intersection of migration and organizations is appropriate. However, this conference is NOT for research focused exclusively on policy or other issues in which the role of the organization or firm is not apparent. Scholars from all fields, disciplines, and career stages are encouraged to submit.
Please click here to upload your paper submission by February 13, 2025. Accepted presenters will be notified by early March 2023 and should be available to present in person.
If you would like to attend the conference without submitting a paper, indicate your interest via the same link as above. We will prioritize slots for presenters.
PhD Consortium: There will be a half-day consortium for PhD students. We will hold small group mentoring meetings with faculty and early research development workshops. Please apply to the consortium here by February 14, 2025. If you also submitted a paper for the conference, you are still eligible to take part in the PhD consortium.
