Rebecca Adamson

Rebecca’s career spans her time spent in and out of jail working for the Coalition of Indian Controlled Schools (1972-1976) to serving as Advisor to the Wharton Business School Initiative on ESG Investing (2022-2024) In 1983 Ms. Adamson created the first microenterprise loan fund, and was an early leader of the Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) movement. As Trustee of Calvert Social Investment Funds (1988-2020) she led High Social Impact Investing HSII (1990) to invest directly in low-income CDFIs. In 1996 HSII was designated an asset class, Community Notes now over $4.2 bn invested in CDFIs and high impact initiatives. From 2014 to 2019 she advised Royal Dutch Shell, Rio Tinto, Vale and Hess on Social Performance and indigenous Peoples Rights. She is currently an Advisor to the Wharton Business School ESG Initiative. A featured TEDMED speaker in 2014 and early Schwab Social Entrepreneur 2004-2009 with the World Economic Forum. Ms Adamson has won many awards: PBS Change Makers, National Women’s History Recipient, co-author the award-winning book “The Color of Wealth: the Story Behind the US Racial Wealth Divide”.

John Bendheim

Mr. John Bendheim is known as a savvy philanthropist, entrepreneur and investor. Mr. Bendheim serves as the President of Bendheim Enterprises Inc. In addition, Mr. Bendheim serves as a Vice President at Leon Lowenstein Foundation, Inc. He founded Inland Homes in 1994 and has specialized in providing equity funding for real estate transactions. He served as the President of Benditel Incorporated from 1988 to 1994.
Mr. Bendheim was awarded the 2008 Cedars Sinai Board of Governors Philanthropic Leadership Award for his endless contributions to the Community of Los Angeles and beyond. Mr. Bendheim has a long history of community service and leadership. His outstanding contributions have improved the health and well-being of thousands of people in the Los Angeles Community.
Mr. Bendheim is on the boards of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, American Fidelity Corp., the Lowenstein Foundation, the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, Beverly Hills Convention and Visitors Bureau, USC Marshall School, the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and Liquipel.
Mr. Bendheim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1975 and an MBA in 1976 from the University of Southern California.

Mary Karol Cline
Senior Policy Advisor; Director, Office of the Global Chair and CEO, EY
Bio
With more than 30 years of experience across the private, public and academic sectors, Mary is a political scientist, problem solver and analyst who drives strategic initiatives in the EY Office of the Global Chair and CEO. She is a co-founder of EY’s Geostrategic Business Group (established in 2017), for whom she now serves as a Senior Advisor. She serves as EY’s strategy officer for the World Economic Forum (WEF), bringing perspective to its initiatives on economic progress, sustainability, and political risk.
Mary previously held positions at Eurasia Group, the US Department of State, and the RAND Corporation. She also served as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University, teaching courses on political risk assessment and public-private partnerships. Mary holds a PhD in Political Science from UCLA and a BA from Bowdoin College. She has held residential positions Munich, Moscow, London and Dubai.

Abrielle Rosenthal

Abrielle Rosenthal is Chief Sustainability Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and a Managing Director of TowerBrook Capital Partners, a transatlantic investment management firms with over $30 billion AUM. Ms. Rosenthal leads the firm’s Responsible Ownership strategy and oversees global regulatory compliance, and is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee. TowerBrook is the first mainstream private equity firm to be certified as a B Corporation, which is awarded to companies that demonstrate leadership in their commitment to responsible business practices.
Prior to joining TowerBrook, Ms. Rosenthal was a partner in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis advising U.S. and European private equity clients. Ms. Rosenthal received a B.S. from the Wharton School (finance) and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Columbia University Law School and an M.Phil. from Queens’ College, Cambridge. In addition to the Wharton Impact Advisory Board, Ms. Rosenthal is on the board of The Opportunity Network and the Columbia Law School Board of Visitors, and serves on the Steering Committee of the ESG Data Convergence Initiative (EDCI).

Bobby Turner

Over the past two decades, Bobby Turner has established himself as a pioneer in the area of social impact investing. Since founding Turner Impact Capital in 2014, he has rapidly built one of the nation’s largest social impact investment firms, with over $5 billion in investment potential to help address some of the country’s most pervasive social issues with real estate solutions. As former Chairman, CEO and Co-Founding Partner of Canyon Capital Realty Advisors (CCRA), he oversaw a commercial real estate and mortgage asset portfolio totaling over $12 billion and was responsible for launching several groundbreaking funds that helped define the “triple bottom line” investment movement. In his years as a social impact innovator, Bobby has dedicated himself to providing sound financial returns for investors while fostering opportunities for the communities in which his funds invest.
Bobby is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (B.S., Finance) where he serves on Wharton’s Board of Advisors and where he has endowed a number of initiatives focused on social impact and ESG investing. Today these programs have grown to include curriculum development in such areas as social impact investing and business ethics, summer internships for students who want to work in either the public or nonprofit sectors, financial scholarships for minority students, the Turner Social Impact Society, the Lauren and Bobby Turner Executive Speaker Series for ESG, the Turner MIINT which is an experiential lab designed to give students at business and graduate schools a hands-on education in impact investing, and the Turner Impact Portfolio Challenge which provides aspiring wealth managers with an impact lens across asset classes to address the world’s most critical challenges.
